A Note About Our Owner

Alice Allan, a Drexel University accounting graduate, found herself, like many parents, unable to find exceptional childcare while working as a controller in Philadelphia. Determined to create a better solution, she decided in 1998 to combine her business education with her love for children and opened her first daycare center. This bold move was driven by her desire to provide high-quality childcare options for working parents who, like herself, struggled to find the perfect balance between career and family life.
As a mother of three, Alice deeply understands the challenges and joys of parenting. Her personal experiences have significantly influenced her approach to childcare, shaping her belief in fostering a nurturing environment where children can learn, explore, and build confidence through play-based exploration. Alice’s commitment to creating a safe and engaging space for children is evident in every aspect of her daycare centers, from the carefully designed learning activities to the compassionate staff she hires.
Alice owns and operates two daycares located in Wayne, PA, where she continues to implement her vision of exceptional childcare. When she’s not overseeing operations at her daycare centers, Alice enjoys reading and spending quality time with her husband and kids. Alice’s blend of professional expertise and personal passion makes her a standout leader in the childcare industry, committed to making a positive difference in the lives of families in her community.
